Project Summary
Norwich School is a co-educational independent day school for pupils aged seven to eighteen. With a fascinating 900 year history Norwich are proud of their rich tradition whilst preparing young people for 21st century life.
The new website is the perfect composition of old and new, each visual has been carefully selected to showcase exactly what makes Norwich school so special. As soon as a user lands on the homepage they will acknowledge Norwich’s tradition via the beautiful imagery, yet despite being steeped in history the schools modern outlook comes across. Starting with a full width image carousel, followed by a media panel hosting video, and upcoming events slider and their social media feed.
The website holds a huge amount of information, so we were keen to present the site in a way that was easy to navigate yet still being eye catching and aesthetically pleasing.
The four levels of navigation in particular was a challenge as we had to ensure that each type of audience would find their chosen page in as few clicks as possible. To do this we created a full width drop down second level navigation accessible from the homepage. Once a visitor navigates to a second level page they’re encouraged to click on the image tiles to navigate their journey.
