mso were lucky enough to be invited to the Essex Digital Awards with New Hall School

mso were lucky enough to be invited to the Essex Digital Awards with New Hall School on the evening of the 3rd of May. The Essex Digital Awards is an awards event, which recognises charities, schools and businesses across Essex for their progressive online work. Accolades across 12 categories including “Best Website” and “Best Blog” were presented.

For us at mso this night was all about New Hall School. New Hall where nominated finalists in 2 categories. The first, WEBSITE: SCHOOL, EDUCATION OR CHARITY and the second was BEST WEBSITE.

The evening started off with a lovely meal which lead into the awards ceremony. The two awards that New Hall where nominated for where award 10 and 12 so we had a little time to relax and enjoy the event before the tension mounted.

We’re very happy to announce that the New Hall School website had a very successful Essex Digital Awards this year, achieving awards in both categories in which it was nominated.

The first award New Hall where finalists for was WEBSITE: SCHOOL, EDUCATION OR CHARITY. This category was an important one for New Hall as this is there specialist category, for this the judges consider the experience of exploring all the information on the site as well as the overall UX. New Hall ticks this box for the category.

New Hall School achieved Gold for WEBSITE: SCHOOL, EDUCATION OR CHARITY

The second was BEST WEBSITE. This is the awards flagship category, the big one at the end of the night. There was a lot of competition for this one and some amazing sites where nominated. The Essex Digital award have said that this category ‘takes into account aesthetics, usability, accessibility, content, innovation, frequency of updates, responsiveness, quality of craft and overall experience.’
